What you will be doing

Mechanical Engineer in AM engineering Team will work on mechanical engineering part, The main task of the position is the design & execution of CAPEX project and contribute technical support for critical equipment issue. Tasks will include all plant(site1,2 & 3) engineering with mitigating safety risk, reducing operating costs, increasing plant productivity, and ensures legal, Umicore compliance and standard.
1.    Leading Project and Solving Technical Problem
a.    Act as interface between AM management and related departments when the issue occurs.
2.    Technical Problem Solving
a.    Lead and/or support Capex project and site improvement projects for concept study, engineering, execution, commission. Contribute to improve chronic issue of equipment and technical issue from maintenance. 
3.    Technical Support
a.    Support Maintenance & operation teams by providing operational and technical support for critical equipment issues.
b.    Delivering a package of project engineering documents (review and handover to maintenance)
c.    Contribute to the design of Engineering standard by bringing new concepts and providing managers with project feasibility data. 
d.    Collaborate with the teams of process control(PTE), product, EHS, quality and maintenance to identify gaps in our processes related to safety, quality, service and cost.

Who we are looking for

1.    Education & Experience
-    Bachelor's degree with minimum 2 years of experience in Mechanical engineering or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
-    Work experience in the field of chemical and powder industry or engineering company is preferred
2.    Technical skills
-    Good IT skills in MS office including outlook, excel and word..
-    Experience in P&ID reading, Mechanical assembly drawing reading and others is preferred 
-    Knowledge in proficient AutoCAD skill and MS project is a plus 
3.    Language level
-    Intermediate level of English speaking, written, listening.
